Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post. Today we will be touching base on your
relationship with your significant other.
Many people have that significant other that you love no matter what;
however sometimes with our busy schedules we forget to make sure they feel
loved as well. One of the things that my husband and I do to spend time
together is watch a tv show we really love.
Right now we are really into survivor.
We love that show, and it just
makes us feel relaxed and we spend like 2 hours watching episodes, and
finishing seasons. It’s our time to bond
with each other and spend that quality time together; especially because we
have a toddler. If any of you have children,
then you know how hard it can be to make sure that your husband, or even wife,
feels like they have your attention.
When you have a baby, and the mother is breastfeeding, the father kind
of feels out of the loop because that baby needs 100% of that mother’s
attention, and then it gets to the night time, and the mother is so exhausted
from taking care of the newborn that she sort of puts her husband on the back
burner. So if you take anything away from this at all…take
this: Wives, your husband’s need your attention; even if it’s just for a few
minutes, spend time with them in that brief few minutes and bond is a great way
to show your husband’s that you still care about them, and husbands, your wives
need your attention. Even if it’s just
again that few minutes of listening to how their day went…spend that quality
time with them. Sometimes you have to sacrifice something you have been wanting to do, in order to spend time with them. Is it hard to do that, maybe, but the true question is...is it/ will it/ or was it worth it? By the way, I didn't touch on this too much, but this all can apply to girlfriends and boyfriends as well.
Questions/Reflection of the day:
-How do you spend
time with your significant other? This
can be boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/ wife, whatever…how do you spend time with
them? Is it hard to find time to spend with them? Are there things you have to sacrifice in order to make time to spend with them? Share your answers and thoughts in the comments below.
