Hello all my sweet friends, followers and newbies, I have an announcement to make. I am going to be doing BLOGMAS this year. This is the first year I will ever be doing something like this. Basically I’m going to be blogging everyday until the 25th of December. Every day will be something different, but it will be a blog post…may be short, may be long, but whatever it is…you will hopefully be getting a blog post everyday from me. I will post this on my blogger blog: http://lilvina25.blogspot.com/ so be sure to check that one out as well. The posts for December will consist of DIY’s, family posts, pretty much anything dealing with Christmas or December. So stay tuned for everything. I will begin the posts starting December 1, 2015. I am excited and I hope you all are as well. Have a great weekend :)

Show love to the world
I Need A Hero: By Bonnie Tyler
Chorus:
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Before the actual post
That song is perfect for what I'm going to be talking about today. Hello my sweet friends and welcome back to another Chat With Vina Blog Post. I hope you all had a good week and weekend. Today I'm going to be talking about what I'm thankful for and what happened on November 13, 2015. This blog post is going to be long, so just warning you...go get a cup of coffee or tea or whatever your choice of drink is and just relax, reflect and read.
Today I’m thankful for my life. On November 13, 2015 Paris was attacked by terrorists. This is such a sad time for them because they didn’t know it was going to happen. I wish that it never happened, but it did and I can’t imagine how anyone could be so cruel and do that. Don’t take your life for granted because you never know when your life is going to end. I think that if there was more love in the world, this might not have happened. If people really loved each other instead of having hatred inside, or having the audacity to commit such a horrible crime on someone else or other people, then this life would be so different. It saddens me to think that there is no safe place anywhere in the world. There is no safe hide out, or sanctuary that you can go in and feel completely ok with living. There are so many people out there who don’t want to live, who want to end their lives, who are so depressed because they feel they are not worth anything…but I’m telling you…you are worth so much, and your life is meant to be lived, and enjoyed. Not only is there love, but love can surpass anything; love can conquer, and overcome anything.
We need to think of Paris at this time, and think of all those people that lost their lives, and they didn’t even do anything to deserve it, and we need to pray and make sure they know someone in the world loved them. Someone cared about who they were, what their lives were like and that they did not deserve to die like this. So today I just want you all to think about this, and to tell your family, friends, and neighbors that you love them. Let them know that they were thought of or that you are thinking of them and you care about them whether that is sending a card, giving a hug, say I love you or something encouraging along those lines, whatever it might be…show them that you care about them. And love yourself, because love is so powerful and even though we may not live in a world that seems safe and secure, we can still find something, or someone to love including ourselves. . Your life is not something that should be taken for granted because it could be ended at any time. So just be happy that you are alive today because I know that I’m really thankful that I am alive and healthy even though we live in a world that can be quite scary. And remember to SHOW THE LOVE.

Day 2 of what I'm thankful for
Hello my sweet friends. Today I will tell you the second thing I’m thankful for. I’m thankful for silence. Silence is the one thing that can just be amazing when you have the chance to experience it. You can just let your mind wander because it’s all silent around you. Silence is incredible, it’s sweet, it’s rare and it’s rewarding. It can be scary, life changing and remarkable all at the same time. So when you get the chance to have it silent, appreciate it because it doesn’t happen all the time.

One thing I’m thankful for Series
What I'm Thankful For Day 1: Family
Hello my sweet friends. So today starts my series for the thanksgiving month…what I’m thankful for. Twice a week, I will write a post about what I’m thankful for that day, and this will be up until November 24th. So let’s get started.
Today I’m thankful for my family.
-My family has been my biggest supporters, helpers, and there is no way I could thank them enough. When I was dealing with things with my son (medical) things, they were there for me. When I was stressed out and just needed to vent, they were there. When I need a babysitter, they are always welcome to babysit my toddler. I feel that family members are those people that are hard to replace; even if you don’t have that good of a relationship with them, they are still your family, no matter how messed up, crazy, funny, can’t stand to be around them they can be, they are still your family. They are the people that God has blessed you with and they are the ones who will most likely be there for you in the end.
Let me know in the comments below: What is one thing you are thankful for today? Til next time <3

Online School VS Regular School
Hello my sweet friends and welcome back to another Chat With Vina blog post. Today I'm going to be talking about the Pros and Cons of Online School Vs Regular School. I have done both so I can relate to everything that I'm saying in this post. But in the end, it's all up to what you prefer.
Online:
Pros:
-You can do it at your own pace
-You can do it anywhere you want (on a train, on a bus, in your house, etc)
-You can wear whatever you want (pajamas, a suit, hair messy, no make up etc)
-You can talk anyway you would like
-You can sleep as long as you would like, (you don't have to be up at a certain time)
Cons:
-You have to do everything on your own
-You don't have a professor right there in front of you to ask questions to or concerns
-If you don't understand something, it's a lot harder to figure it out on your own
-You have to look up the research on your own
Regular School:
Pros:
-You have someone there to ask questions to
-You can meet new people everyday (games, events, etc)
-You can study with friends
-Can be a bit easier depending on your major
Cons:
-You have to be up at a certain time so you don't miss class
-You can get homesick if you live far away from family
-You have to actually sit in a classroom for as many hours as it is
-If you have children, you have to find some place for them to go while you are in class
-It's more expensive than online college
-----------------------------------------------------------------
So in my opinion they are almost the same as that each one has around the same as many pros and cons as the other. But it all depends on what you prefer. I have always done better online than in a regular classroom setting...but I keep my studying methods about the same way.
In the comments below which one do you prefer: Online or Regular?

Stay Positive Even If Things Get Hard
You wouldn't think that keeping a positive attitude could really do much, but it really can. I know for me, when things get hard, I just want to get mad and angry and I don't want to be happy, but when I'm being positive and thinking that things will work out, I feel a little bit better. Just having a positive outlook on life can change the way you see things. So the next time that you get discouraged about something, or angry that something didn't go right...think of something positive that has happened to you today or that day and week, and remember that. Remember when it rains, it pours, but there is always the sun or a rainbow on the other end...so when bad things happen, there is always going to be some sort of a positive light that comes out of it.
Have a great day :)

I post Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week, so if there is a topic that you would like me to cover, let me know in the comments below. :)
